Who am I?

Hi, I'm Ubaid and I am a Software Engineer at BT (mostly working in DevOps) in Birmingham. I also have a first class degree in Mathematics and Physics, with my thesis being related to thermodynamics and statistical physics (Monte Carlo Simulation of the Ising Model).

My Journey

I was born and raised in Birmingham, England.

I went to King Edward VI Aston School and completed my GCSE's in 2015, then moved to King Edward VI Five Ways and completed my A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Economics.

I always loved maths and sciences, so I completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics (BSc(Hons)) and achieved a first class grade.

After completing a year as a Software Graduate at BT, I am now working as a Software Engineer Consultant at Accenture.

I'm also a 1st Dan black belt in Wado-Ryu karate, winning trophies in national tournaments...
